My mother and I had the privilege of staying with Dan and Arlene for approximately two weeks during our move to Nova Scotia from Ontario. I cannot say enough good things about this marvelous couple and their fantastic B&B. From the gourmet breakfasts to their comfortable, tastefully decorated home, this is a one of a kind, five star B&B! I would HIGHLY recommend the Stella Rose to anyone searching for accomodations. An added plus for us was that my Cavalier, Pippin, was welcomed into their home as well, although Koko wasn't too sure of him. I'm so happy and pleased to have met Dan and Arlene.

The Stella Rose is wonderful. Dan and Arlene are charming and entertaining hosts, who go beyond what is necessary for the comfort of their guests. This establishment certainly feels like a home away from home and I recommend it highly. Cannot wait to return!

WOW..what an awesome place to stay, Arlene and Dan are the most charming and friendly hosts, My husband and I and our little Shih-Tzu Gus stayed in The Terrace Room, we felt right at home and the breakfast's are just superb. We highly recommend The Stella Rose.

My lady friend and I stayed at Stella Rose for one night earlier this week as I was in town for work and we could not have been happier with our decision. In fact we wished we could have stayed another night but had to make our way back to Cape Breton. We were greeted very warmly by Arlene and Dan who were helpful in every sense of the word from recommending local dining/entertainment, prepping the ultra-clean outdoor hot tub for us to relax in when we got back after dinner, and serving up an amazing breakfast in the morning which for me was a muesli/granola bowl (made from scratch) with fresh strawberries, mango, almonds, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, yoghurt, and cinnamon. Our room was beautifully renovated and modern with a jacuzzi tub, a flat screen TV, and a dual reclining love seat to kick our feet up after a long day. I've stayed at a number of B&B's in Wolfville over the years and Stella Rose far exceeds any that I have experienced. Can't wait to book again on my next visit to the valley!

We live in the city and like to get away to the Valley for peace and quiet. The Stella Rosa is one of the BEST Bed & Breakfast's we have ever been too. Arlene and Dan are the best hosts anyone could ask for, they are warm, friendly and down to earth. We first stayed there in December, 2011 and had such a good time we went back again in March. We have stayed at a lot of B & B's in the Valley but none as nice as The Stella Rosa. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and neat. We try to get the one with the deck so we can sit out and watch the birds come to the feeders. The hot tub is a definite plus. The breakfast's are excellent and very well presented. This is a place we will definitely be coming back to a lot and would highly recommend to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay with Dan and Arlene--unfortunately for only one night. As a couple they are perfect for the business-the magic mix of-- fix it[beautiful job of remodeling while keeping the character]and people skills with the cooking and serving skills of a fine restaurant! Good luck--you will be top of the list for a return visit. Thank you both. Colleen and Brian

We stayed at the Stella Rose B&B on Labour Day weekend when we were taking our daughter to Acadia University. Dan & Arlene were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was exceptional, the room was immaculate and the next time we will be sipping wine in the hot tub!! I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Wolfville. This was our first experience in a B&B and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

My wife and I spent three days at this fantastic bed and breakfast accommodation while accompanying our daughter who entered Acadia University during September. After cancellation of one of the rooms Dan and Arlene made us the offer which we accepted with some reservations. Honestly, it is one of the best, if not the best and breakfast accommodations my wife and I have ever experienced. Great host, excellent location, fantastic food and quality rooms. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in the Wolfvile area. Once again thanks Dan and Arlene who both made our stay one that was truly wonderful.

My hubby and I spent a weekend here to celebrate our anniversary and to join other photo hogs at the annual Sheffield eagle watch and we must agree that this is the best B+B we have ever stayed in. The four poster room and quiet nights in the hot tub (yes, in the dead of winter!) we're very romantic-even though we have been married too long for true romance!!!. We made memories this weekend that will always be part of us and Dan and Arlene and all the ways they pampered us will always be part of those memories. Great, friendly, down to earth hosts. Lovely house, comfortable, very clean rooms, scrumptious out-of-the-ordinary breakfasts. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It is small enough for personal attention and right in the heart of the beautiful Annapolis Valley. This area is a photographers dream.
Our Guests Say
BREAKFAST OF A LIFETIME!!
A super B & B. Beautifully decorated and very welcoming. But the title of t his review is my point. Our first breakfast was Eggs Benny, however, instead of an English Muffin, we had a base of fried mashed potato, with Peameal bacon, egg, and home-made hollandaise sauce. Our hosts offered two, but we were happy with one.
Our room had a separate sitting room that we used to entertain our fellow lodgers.
Truly a great experience.
